Anirudh to turn hero?
Young music composer Anirudh who is creating waves with his music has been getting offers to act in films. The Kolaveri composer is said to have listened to as much as seventeen scripts so far, but has not signed any films so far. Buzz is that he has been impressed with one script but is yet to take the final call. His latest album Ethir Neechal is already topping the charts. Anirudh's other projects include Kirutiga Udayanidhi's debut film and Selvaragavan's untitled film to be produced by Dhanush.

Amaidhi Padai 2 audio launch date
Amaidhi Padai 2 titled 'Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA' is directed by Manivannan starring Sathyaraj, Seeman, Raghuvannan, Mrudala and Komal Sharma in lead roles. The audio of the film is likely to be released on March 31. The trailer of the film will also be released on the same day. The film which marks the 50th film of director Mannivannan is the sequel to Amaidhi Padai released in 1994. Music score by James Vasanthan.
Anjali bags another film
Anjali is said to have signed a new Telugu film in which she will team up with Venkatesh again after Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. The film will be a remake of Hindi film Bol Bachchan which will be directed by Vijay Bhaskar. Venkatesh and Ram will reprise the roles played by Ajay Devgn and Abhishekh Bachchan. Anjali will play the role essayed by Asin. Anjali is awaiting the release of Settai which is set to hit the screens on April 5.
Vasanth's MPMK gets 'U' certificate
Vasanth’s ‘Moondru Per Moondru Kadhal’ (MPMK) has cleared the censors with a clean U certificate. The film is expected to release soon. Arjun, Cheran, Vimal, Bhanu and two new faces Shruthi and Surveenin play the lead roles. MPMK revolves around the love life of three couples.
Interestingly the director is also launching his son Ritvik in his film who will make a special appearance in a song. Music by Yuvan and the songs are topping the charts.
Konjum Kili song from KBKR
'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga' (KBKR) is directed by Pandiraj starring Siva Karthikeyan, Vimal, Bindhu Madhavi and Regina Cassandra in lead roles. Music by Yuvan. The film is set to hit the screens on March 29. Watch Konjum Kili song from the film!
