Yaan first look on March 31

Yaan first look on March 31

The first look of 'Yaan', starring Jiiva and Thulasi Nair will be revealed on March 31. Producer Elred Kumar has confirmed the news in his microblog. Ace cinematographer Ravi K Chandran has turned director with this film. Music is by Harris Jayaraj. Recently, a photo shoot involving the lead pair took place at Mumbai.

Vijay Sethupathi and Vimal team up

Director Seenu Ramasamy of Neerparavai fame has roped in Vimal and Vijay Sethupathi for the lead roles in his next film. The film will be an action film which is based on a story by writer S Ramakrishnan. Seenu Ramasamy is currently working on the script. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised. Music score by N R Raghunanthan. It will be produced by Vasan Studios. The film shooting is likely to begin in July.

First Look of Kirutiga's film on March 29

The shooting of Kirutiga Udhayanidhi's debut film with Shiva and Priya Anand in lead roles is progressing in a brisk pace. The film is a romantic comedy produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. Music by Anirudh. Udayanidhi Stalin has said that the title and first look of the film will be revealed on March 29.

Vaibhav and Sanchita out of 'The Villa'

Earlier, it was announced that Vaibhav and Sanchita Shetty will play the lead roles in 'The Villa', which is the second film in 'Pizza' series. However, now, they have been removed from the film as 'Studio Green' has decided to make the film with more popular stars. The movie will be a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. The movie is directed by Deepan Chakravarthy, who was a short film maker before.

Ajith clarifies on his future projects

There has been a lot of rumours regarding Ajith's future projects. The actor has issued an official press release putting an end to all rumours. He had said that he would be undergoing a surgery on October 21 for the injury sustained during the shoot of AM Ratnam film. He has been postponing the surgery due to his prior commitments. Ajith will not be signing any new projects till he recovers completely. After wrapping Vishnuvardhan's film, he will start shooting for Siruthai Siva's film as committed from April 1 in Hyderabad.

Kollywood actors to go on fast

Following directors who observed one day fast on March 19 to support Sri Lankan Tamils, actors have decided to observe one day fast on April 2 at the Nadigar Sangam premises. Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan will take part in the fast along with other actors. Also, the shoots on that day are expected to be cancelled. 

Thiru signs his next film

Director Thiru has signed his next film after Samar. The film will be produced by Marikar Films. The production house has produced and distributed Malayalam films. Thiru has tweeted, "I've signed my next with Marikar films who made Big B, Annan Thambi and 20 more projects produced by Sahul Marikar (Malayalam). Will update more details soon."
