Studio Green to release Shiva's film

Sonna Puriyadhu is a comedy caper directed by debutant director Krishnan Jayaraj, a former assistant of CS Amudhan of Tamil Padam fame. Studio Green has acquired the distribution rights of the film. Shiva and Vasundhra Kashyap play the lead roles. Shiva plays the role of a man who fears marriage as it will deprive him of his freedom. The trailer of the film has received good response. Music by Yatish Mahadev. The film is produced by 360 Degree Film Corp.

Jai's TEN reaches final schedule

Thirumanam Ennum Nikka (TEN) starring Jai and Nazriya Nazeem in the lead is directed by debutante Anish. The film has reached its final schedule. The final schedule of shoot will take place at Hyderabad. The film is all about marriages showcasing the rich traditions and culture of Indian weddings. TEN is expected to be a feel-good film, high on romance, comedy and family values apart from four weddings (2 marriages and 2 Nikkahs). Music by Ghibran of Vathikuchi fame. Film is produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

Vijay off to Australia

Vijay, A.L. Vijay and his team are leaving to Australia today for the final schedule of Thalaivaa shooting. Major portions of shoot has been wrapped in Mumbai and about 75% of the film is complete. The final schedule starts from 27th March in Australia. The post production work will begin after the team returns from Australia in April. The audio and movie release date is expected to be revealed then. Amala Paul, Santhanam, Satyaraj, Rajiv Pillai, Ragini Nandwani are also part of the cast. Music by G V Prakash.

Endrendrum Punnagai is directed by Ahmed starring Jiiva, Trisha, Vinay and Santhanam. Red Giant Movies has acquired the distribution rights of the film. Udhayanidhi Stalin has confirmed the news. The team has wrapped major portions of shoot. The remaining portions will be shot overseas. The team will be leaving shortly to Europe. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

Naan Rajavaga Pogiren gets U certificiate

Naan Rajavaga Pogiren is an action entertainer directed by Prithvi Rajkumar and written by Vetrimaaran. The film features Nakul, Chandni and newcomer Avani Modi in the lead roles. Music has been scored by G.V. Prakash. The film has been censored with a clean 'U' certificate. The film is set to hit the screens in April.

Siddharth-Hansika's Something Something

Sundar C's upcoming comedy caper 'Theeya Vela Seiyyanum Kumaru' has been titled 'Something Something' in Telugu. Siddharth, Hansika, Santhanam and Ganesh Venkatraman play the lead roles. Santhanam is playing the comedy role in TVSK while Telugu comedy actor Brahmanandam fills this slot in 'Something Something'. The film is set to release in the second week of May.

The film shooting is happening at a rapid pace and is likely to be wrapped by mid April. The audio and trailer will be out in the first week of April. Music by Sathya. Film is produced by Khusboo Sundar in association with UTV.
