Ajith completes song shoot

Ajith completes song shoot

The shooting of Ajith Vishnuvaradhan film is currently progressing in Mumbai. A Holi song was shot with the lead actors Arya, Nayanthara and Arya in a lavish set. The song has been choreographed by Dinesh Master. The song is said to have a brilliant visual appeal.

The latest we hear is Ajith has wrapped Mumbai shoot after completing the Holi song. The film shooting is inching towards completion with only a few days of shoot left. Music score by Yuvan.

Soodhu Kavvum Audio launch date

Soodhu Kavvum starring Vijay Sethupathi and Sanchitha Shetty in lead roles is directed by Nalan Kumarasamy of Nalaya Iyakkunar fame. Vijay Sethupathi plays the role of a 40-year-old. The trailer of the film has received good response from the audience. The audio is set to be released on March 27 at Sathyam Cinemas in Chennai. Music by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is produced by C.V. Kumar’s Thirukumaran Entertainment. Studio Green will be releasing the film.

Venkat Prabhu does a cameo

Venkat Prabhu who is busy with ‘Biriyani’ has agreed to do a cameo role in a film titled Nalanum Nandhiniyum. The film is directed by one of his former assistant Venkatesh. Michael Thangadurai and Nandita of 'Attakathi' fame play the lead roles in this romantic comedy. The film is set to hit the screens in May.

The next schedule of Biriyani is set to begin on 31st March at Hyderabad. Venkat Prabhu is also playing a key role in a thriller film titled ‘Vizithiru’.

Power Star to turn a ghost?

The latest buzz is that Power Star Srinivasan will be playing a ghost in the remake of cult comedy film 'Patthanathil Bhootham'. The movie will be produced by Thenappan. Shiva and Santhanam might play the lead roles. Director Manikandan of 'KLTA' fame is being considered to direct this film, but, he has stated that he is currently working on a fresh script. 

Kollywood on a one day fast

Following the protests of students in Tamil Nadu over Sri Lankan Tamil issue, it’s now the turn of Kollywood to show their support. Director Ameer, the Secretary of Tamil Nadu Film Directors’ Association had earlier announced that representatives of the industry will fast for the cause outside Valluvar Kottam between 9.00am and 6.00pm today. Seven unions from the film industry are participating in the Fast.

Vijay in a negative role

Vijay is all set to begin shooting for his next film Jilla from mid-May. Vijay, Mohanlal, Kajal Agarwal, Mahat Ragavendra, Poornima Bhagyaraj and Parotta Suri are part of the cast. The film will be directed by Nesan and music by Imman. Mahat who will play Vijay's brother has said, "The characters played by Vijay and me will have negative shades. Jilla will be a fun loving movie and everybody will like it." 

The latest to join the cast of Jilla is VTV Ganesh, Powerstar and Kovai Sarala. The film set in the backdrop of Madurai. The pre-production work is currently in progress. Jilla is produced by R. B. Choudary.

Jackky's Gangnam Style song from Rangrezz

Rangrezz is the remake of Tamil film Nadodigal. The film starring Jackky Bhagnani and Priya Anand in lead roles is directed by Priyadarshan. The film is set to hit the screens on March 21. Checkout 'Jackky's Gangnam Style' song from the film!
