GV Prakash's Sema is releasing today. The composer-turned-actor is also kick-starting a new project to be helmed by National Award-winning director VasanthaBalan. GV Prakash Kumar made his debut as music composer with ace dictor Vasanthabalan’s critically acclaimed ‘Veyil’, which released in 2006. GV Prakash is collaborating with Vasantha Balan again for a new project. This time apart from scoring the music, he will be playing the lead actor in the film.

Abarnathi of "Enga Veetu Mappillai" fame his making her debut as heroine with this film. She will be pairing opposite GV Prakash. The film goes on floors today with a formal pooja launch event. The film also stars Nanthan Ram, Paandi, Radhika, Jennifer, Baahubali villain Prabhakar amongst others.
