To the uninitiated, the very popular Kalyaana Vayasu song from Kolamaavu Kokila was the hot topic on the internet recently, for charges of plagiarism were imposed on Anirudh Ravichander by some music listeners who compared the tune of this song to that of Don't Lie by an international musician by the name Sanaa.
As accusations of the Tamil song being a rip-off started pouring in, some music buffs even pointed out that the tune was shared by not just these two but so many other songs.
Anirudh who maintained a stoic silence on all this till now, finally responded to the 'lack of awareness' and said that the tune was bought from a music production company called Mantra which holds the license to this common tune. He also thanked his fans for the support they showed to make his song trend at No.1 position.

And for the lack of awareness, I work with a lot of music producers worldwide and this beat is licensed from @beatsbymantra 🥁#KalyaanaVayasu https://t.co/ryZJtcDCHU
