Disha Patani who is basking in the success of her latest outing 'Baaghi 2' had been roped into play a pivotal role in Salman Khan's upcoming film 'Bharat'. Disha Patani seems to be on cloud nine after being signed for Salman Khan's film. It was Salman Khan who broke the news on his Twitter page. Disha Patani also couldnt contain her excitement for being part of this Bollywood biggie.

Disha plays the role of trapeze artist in the film and tweeted, "Looking forward to step into the shoes of a #TrapezeArtiste ..Thank you for this challenge @BeingSalmanKhan @aliabbaszafar @atulreellife @priyankachopra #Bharat it is!!"

Bharat is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. “The pairing of Salman and Disha in a circus set-up in the ’60s is unusual and exciting. She is a promising star and for this character, we needed a girl who looked vulnerable and beautiful yet had the physicality of an athlete. Disha fit the bill perfectly,” said Ali Abbas Zafar to a leading newspaper.
