Rapper Baba Sehgal has sung a song for Surya's 'Singam 2'. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for Singam 2 and has roped in Baba Sehgal to croon a song. Baba Shegal has tweeted, "Recorded a funky dance song for Singam 2 with one and only Devi Sri Prasad. Rocking as always" 

The shooting of Singam 2 is currently happening in Malaysia. Hollywood actor Danny Sapani has joined the team for the shoot. Major action sequence is being shot in Malaysia. A risky boat chase sequence is being canned with Surya. The film shooting is inching towards completion. Surya, Anushka and Hansika play the lead roles in Singam 2 directed by Hari.

Settai getting ready for Censor

Settai is the Tamil remake of 'Delhi Belly' starring Arya, Santhanam, Premgi Amaran, Hansika and Anjali in lead roles. The film is set to hit the screens on April 5. The post production work of the film is currently in progress. Dhananjayan of UTV has tweeted,"Settai post production happening hectic day and night in studios. To be completed this week end for censor next week." The promotions of the film have already kick-started. The film is directed by Kannan and Thaman has scored the music.

Radha Mohan's 'Gouravam' release date

Gouravam starring Allu Arjun's brother Allu Sirish, Prakash Raj and Yami Gautam is directed by Radha Mohan. The movie is set to release on April 12. Gouravam is based on the hierarchical system in our society. S.S. Thaman is scoring the music. The film is produced by Prakash Raj's 'Duet Movies'.

Mani Ratnam sues Kadal distributor

The box office debacle of Mani Ratnam’s Kadal has landed him in trouble with the distributors demanding compensation for the loss. One of the distributor Mannan had filed a complaint with the commissioner of police demanding repayment from the director for Kadal's distribution loss.

Mani Ratnam has now sued distributor Mannan for false allegations against him. A suit has been filed  claiming five crore rupees for the damages that he has caused to the director's reputation. 

Mani Ratnam's 'Madras Talkies' had earlier issued a statement that the worldwide rights of the film has been sold to Gemini Film Circuit. Mani Ratnam or his company cannot be held for the distributor's loss. 

Kanja Karuppu turns producer

Following Santhanam, Kanja Karuppu has now turned producer for a film Velmurugan Borewells directed by Gopi. The film is produced by his home banner Tharun Kaanth Film Factory. Mahesh of Angadi Theru fame plays the lead role. Aarushi plays the female lead. Kanja Karuppu plays a pivotal role in this comedy entertainer. 

Roja Poo song from Rendavathu Padam

Rendavathu Padam is a comedy caper directed by C.S. Amudhan starring Vimal, Aravind Akash, Richard, Vijayalakshmi and Ramya Nambeesan. Music has been scored by Kannan. Listen to Roja Poo song sung by S. P. Balasubramaniam and Chitra.
