Sasikumar and Santhanam to team up

Sasikumar and Santhanam to team up

Sasikumar and Santhanam will be working together in a film titled 'Bramman' to be directed by Socrates, a former associate of Kamal Hassan. Santhanam is teaming up with Sasikumar for the first time. The film is to be produced by Mohan Babu's daughter Lakshmi Manchu. The film will go on floors soon and the official announcement regarding the film will be made this week.

Lakshmi Manchu's recent production 'Gundello Godari' starring Aadhi, Taapsee and herself in the lead was released on March 8 in AP. The tamil version Maranthen Mannithen is set to hit the screens on March 22 in Tamil Nadu. Music by Ilayaraja.

Dhanush rocks with Siva Karthikeyan

Dhanush's maiden production venture Ethir Neechal starring Siva Karthikeyan and Priya Anand is slated for a release in April. The film is one of the expected films and the songs scored by Anirudh are already topping the charts. Dhanush has penned the lyrics of two songs and sung two songs as well. The Kolaveri actor will be seen shaking legs with Siva Karthikeyan in the Kuthu number 'Local Boys'.

Gautham Karthik's next film

Gautham Karthik who made a dream debut with Mani Ratnam's Kadal was appreciated for his performance though the film failed to create waves at the Box Office. The latest we hear is the actor is all set to sign his next film to be directed by Saravanan of 'Silambattam' fame. The film is to be produced by GVG Raju. The team is currently on the lookout for the leading lady. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalised. An official announcement is awaited soon.

Vaibhav signs a new film

Vaibhav Reddy of 'Mankatha' fame of is all happy to be part of a new film titled 'Kappal' where he pairs with Ashrita Shetty who is making her debut in Udhayam NH4. The film is to be directed by Karthik Krish, a former associate of director Shankar. The film starts rolling today. Music by Santhosh Narayanan, cinematography by Dinesh and editing will be taken care by Antony. Vaibhav will also play the lead in 'The Villa', sequel to Pizza.

Jiiva and Trisha to sizzle in Europe

Endrendrum Punnagai starring Jiiva, Trisha, Vinay, Santhanam and Andrea is directed by Ahmed. The team has wrapped the major talkie portions. The remaining portions of the film will be shot overseas. A few scenes and songs are scheduled to be shot in Europe. The team will then be flying to Seychelles to shoot a party song. The song will be canned on the beaches of Seychelles with Jiiva, Trisha, Vinay and Andrea. Music by Harris Jayaraj.

Neetu Chandra's Interview on working in Settai

Settai starring Arya, Hansika, Santhanam, Premgi Amaran and Anjali is set to hit the screens on April 5 worldwide. The film is directed by Kannan and produced by UTV. Music by Thaman.
