The iconic Telugu super-hit film Arjun Reddy that won immense critical acclaim and shattered all box-office records last year is finally being remade in Hindi. Vijay Deverakonda who played the lead role got immense popularity for his acting in the film and became became overnight star in Telugu Film Industry. 

According to latest reports, Shahid Kapoor will be reprising the role of Vijay Deverakonda in the Hindi remake of Arjun Reddy. As per reports in Mumbai Mirror, Shahid gave his nod for the film earlier this week. The film is scheduled to go on the floors in July and the team is in the lookout for the leading lady. The film will be shot in India as well as abroad.

The Hindi version will be directed by Sandeep Vanga who directed the original Telugu film. The director is all set to make his directorial debut in Bollywood with this film. The film is also being remade in Tamil with Chiyaan Vikram’s son Dhruv as the lead.
