Music composer Sam CS who shot to fame with the Madhavan-Vijay Sethupathi starrer Vikram Vedha is gearing up for his next musical release Diya (formerly known as Karu) on April 27, 2018. Meanwhile, the musician has also announced that he will be teaming up with director Ranjith Jeyakodi who debuted in Tamil last with Vijay Sethupathi starrer Puriyaatha Puthir. This will be the duo's second outing together and Sam has even mentioned that just like Puriyaatha Puthir, the upcoming project too would be a 'cult story'.

The movie will have Bigg Boss fame Harish Kalyan play the lead and reportedly the actor has already shot for a week with the crew before the TFPC Strike. The actor has even revealed the film to be of romantic genre, while an official announcement on the rest of the cast and crew is expected to be made soon.
