Suriya's next with Lingusamy?

The latest buzz in the Kollywood industry is about Suriya's next project after Singam 2. Gautham Menon, Lingusamy and Sasikumar have reportedly approached him to make a film. However, Suriya seems to have given a nod to Lingusamy and the project will go on floors after Suriya completes Singam 2. Samantha will be paired opposite Suriya in the film. The movie is expected to go on floors in April.

Hansika back to school

Haniska is on a roll down south with seven films in her kitty. She has been shooting round the clock in the last few months. Hansika, we hear, will be seen as a school going girl in Sundar C's comedy caper 'Theeya Vela Seiyyanum Kumaru'. The film shoot is progressing in a rapid pace. Siddharth, Hansika, Santhanam and Ganesh Venkatraman play the lead roles. The bubbly actress has lost oodles of weight.

Interestingly she also plays a school girl in Surya's 'Singam 2'. Her upcoming films include Biriyani, Singam 2, TVSK, Vaalu, Settai, Vettaimannan and Vaaliban.

Ajmal's Karuppampatti release date

'Karuppampatti' is an upcoming film, directed by Prabhu Raja Cholan, a former associate of S. Shankar. Ajmal, Aparnaa Bajpai and Archana play the lead roles. Music by Kannan. The story of the film is about an Indian, born and raised in France, who comes to India in search of his roots. He arrives at a village called Karuppampatti and what happens there, forms the rest of the story. The film is set to hit the screens on March 15.

Mugamoodi actor joins Karthi's AAA

All in All Azhagu Raja (AAA) starring Karthi, Kajal Agarwal and Santhanam kickstarted on March 1. The comedy caper is directed by Rajesh and produced by Studio Green. Narain of Mugamoodi fame, Prabhu and Saranya are the latest addition to the cast. The shooting will happen in Kumbakonam, Pollachi, Gobichettipalayam and Tenkasi. Music by Thaman.

Nayan's de-glam avatar

Nayanthara who plays the female lead in Udayanidhi Stalin's 'Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal' will be sporting a de-glam look in the film. She will don girl-next-door kind of look for the film. Nayan will be playing the role of a middle-class working girl from Coimbatore, who meets Kathirvelan and falls in love. 

The romantic comedy film is directed by S.R. Prabakaran. The film shoot is currently in progress in Chennai. The next schedule of the film will happen in Coimbatore. Music by Harris Jayaraj.
