Akhil's fans were eagerly awaiting the announcement of his next film for a while. The actor officially announced his third project on his Twitter page.

Akhil’s third movie will be directed by Venky Atluri who is basking in the success of his maiden directorial venture "Tholi Prema". The film with Mega Prince Varun Tej in the lead role turned out to be a huge hit at the Box Office. Thaman will be scoring the music for the film. Akhil's last outing Hello, despite good reviews failed to rake in the moolah at the Box Office. The new combo looks promising and the news has excited the fans ever since the announcement. The film is bankrolled by BVSN Prasad, who had also produced Tholi Prema, which struck gold at the box-office.
