Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film tentatively titled ‘Valai’ is shaping up very well. The actor had shot some spectacular action sequences in the film. Director Vishnuvaradhan has now revealed that Ajith would be playing the role of a Cyber Crimer Officer in Valai. Earlier there were reports that Thala will be playing a hacker and now the director has cleared the air regarding Ajith’s role in the film. Ajith will be seen as an expert who uses his tech savvy skills to solve cyber crimes.

The film is inching towards completion with only one more schedule left to be shot. Arya, Nayanthara and Tapsee Pannu are also part of the cast. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Tamanna to pair up with Akshay Kumar

Tamanna's Bollywood debut film Himmatwala with Ajay Devgn is yet to release but the svelte beauty has already bagged her second film with none other than Akshay Kumar. The film marks the directorial debut of writer duo Sajid and Farhad and will be produced by Ramesh Taurani.

Tamanna who is missing from action in Kollywood will also start shooting for her Tamil film with Ajith to be directed by Siruthai Siva. The shooting will begin once Ajith wraps up Valai with director Vishnuvaradhan.

Arjun to direct CM

Arjun who was appreciated for his performance in Kadal and Vanayudham is all set to don the director’s hat again. The actor is set to direct his tenth film which has been titled Comman Man (CM). The film is to be produced by Aascar Films. Arjun would also play the lead role in the film. The cast and crew details will be announced soon. His upcoming films include Vasanth’s ‘Moondru Per Moondru Kaadhal’ and Peralai.

Prabhu Deva confirms Ramaiya Vastavaiya release date

'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' is an upcoming Bollywood film, directed by Prabhu Deva. It is the remake of Telugu blockbuster 'Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana', which was also remade in Tamil as 'Unakkum Enakkum'. Girish Kumar and Shruti Haasan play the lead roles in the film. The film is produced by Tips Films. Prabhu Deva has said that the film is set to release on June 21 worldwide.

Karthi puts Biriyani's shoot on hold

Actor Karthi is all excited to start shooting for his next film with director Rajesh for All in All Azhagu Raja. The film shooting is likely to begin in the first week of March. Karthi, Kajal Agarwal and Santhanam play the lead roles.

Karthi who has been shooting for Venkat Prabhu’s ‘Biriyani’ has a taken a break to shoot for All in All Azhagu Raja. Biriyani team will resume the film shooting from April. Karthi had recently completed a hectic schedule of Biriyani in Pondicherry. Some important action sequences were canned in this schedule. Studio Green is producing both the films ‘Biriyani’ and ‘All in All Azhagu Raja’.

Nagarjuna's 'Greeku Veerudu' Official Trailer

Greeku Veerudu is an upcoming Telugu film written and directed by Kondapalli Dasaradh Kumar featuring Nagarjuna and Nayantara in the lead roles. Music by Thaman. The film is slated for a release in April. Checkout the teaser trailer of the film!
