Ethir Neechal is an upcoming film, directed by Durai Senthilkumar and produced by Dhanush's 'Wunderbar Films'. Sivakarthikeyan, Priya Anand and Nandita play lead roles in the film. Anirudh has scored the music. The songs are already topping the charts. The film shooting has been wrapped.

Saranya in Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal

Saranya who played Udayanidhi's mom in his debut film Oru Kal Oru Kannadi will be playing the role of a mom again in his next film Idhu Kathrivelan Kadhal (IKK). The film shooting kickstarted today in Chennai. Nayanthara plays the female lead. Santhanam plays a pivotal role. Music by Harris Jayaraj. Film is directed by S.R. Prabhakaran of 'Sundarapandian' fame. IKK is produced by Red Giant Movies.

Santhanam to remake S.S. Rajamouli's film

Santhanam after the success of 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' is ready to produce his next film which will be a remake of SS Rajamouli’s Telugu Blockbuster Maryada Ramanna. Santhanam will play the lead role.

PVP Cinemas has acquired the remake rights of the film. Santhanam has made a deal with PVP to produce the film under his banner ‘Handmade Films’ on a first copy basis. Settai director Kannan was to direct the film but has now opted out as he does not want to work on another remake immediately after Settai. Kannan however will be directing a new film titled Alangaram for PVP Cinemas.

Comedian turned director Srinath is set to direct the film. Srinatha has acted in films like Unnale Unnale, Santhosh Subramaniam, Manam Kothi Paravai and has also directed a film ‘Muthirai’. 

Vijay Sethupathy as Sumar Moonji Kumar

Vijay Sethupathy's new film with director Gokul of Rowthiram fame has been titled 'Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara'. Swati of 'Subramaniapuram' fame and Nandita of 'Attakathi' fame play the female leads in this comedy entertainer. Vijay Sethupathi's character in the film has been named Sumar Moonji Kumar. The film is based on the daily comical things that happen in out day to day life. Music by Siddharth Vipin. Madhan Karky will be penning the dialogues. The film is produced by Leo Visions.

Dil Ko Aaya Sukoon song from Rangrezz

Rangrezz is the remake of Tamil film Nadodigal. The film starring Jackky Bhagnani and Priya Anand in lead roles is directed by Priyadarshan. Checkout 'Dil Ko Aaya Sukoon' song from the film!
