Soundarya updates on Kochadaiyaan
Superstar's 'Kochadaiyaan' is one of the most awaited films this year. Soundarya Rajnikanth who is directing the film has updated on the film's status in her microblog. She has tweeted, "Been busy locking the film. In active post production. Dubbing next month. Will keep you posted on audio release soon"
The team is religiously working towards bringing out the best quality animation and has tied up with top notch studios in U.S, U.K and Hong Kong. Kochadaiyaan is touted to be the first motion capture 3D film in India. The period film has an ensemble cast of Rajnikanth, SarathKumar, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Shobana, Aadhi. Music by A.R. Rahman.

Amala Paul trashes rumours
Thalaivaa shooting is currently happening in Mumbai and the team is set to leave to Spain for the next schedule. Meanwhile some sections of media reported that the Thalaivaa team would be leaving to Oman instead of Spain for the shoot. Amala Paul who is currently in Spain shooting for her upcoming Telugu flick 'Iddarammayilatho' has denied the news as false. Amala plays the female lead in Thalaivaa. The film is directed by A.L. Vijay and music by G.V. Prakash.
Malaysia lifts ban on 'Vishwaroopam'
Malaysian authorities have finally lifted the ban on Kamal's magnum opus Vishwaroopam yesterday (February 19). Malaysian Film Censorship Board had initially approved the movie for public screening and it was shown for a day (January 24). However, the approval was withdrawn the next day, following orders from the Home Ministry. With the ban being lifted, the film will now release in Malaysia, the biggest market for Tamil films in the world.
Rendavathu Padam audio launch date
Rendavathum Padam is a comedy caper directed by C.S. Amudhan of 'Tamil Padam' fame. Vimal, Aravind Akash, Richard, Vijayalakshmi and Ramya Nambeesan play the lead roles. The audio of the film will be launched next month. C.S. Amudhan had tweeted, "Rendavathu Padam's audio will be launched on the 8th of March along with the theatrical trailer." Music has been scored by Kannan.
Shiva-Priya Anand's film wraps up a schedule
Kiruthiga Udayanidhi has turned director for a romantic comedy film starring Shiva and Priya Anand in lead roles. The film started rolling from February 1. The shooting has been progressing at a brisk pace in Chennai. The first schedule of the film has been wrapped. Priya Anand had tweeted, "It's a wrap for our first Schedule! Had so much fun shooting with my first ever screen mom - Urvashi Ma!" The film is produced by Udayanidhi Stalin's 'Red Giant Movies'. Music by Anirudh.
Allah Allah song from Siddharth's Jabardasth
Jabardasth is a Telugu romantic comedy film directed by Nandini Reddy starring Siddharth, Samantha, Sunil and Nithya Menen. The film is to be dubbed in Tamil as Dum Dum Pee Pee. Jabardasth is releasing on February 22. Checkout Allah Allah promo song from the film!
