Jiiva's 'Yaan' reaches final schedule

Jiiva's 'Yaan' reaches final schedule

The second schedule of Jiiva's 'Yaan', directed by Ravi K Chandran has been wrapped up. The team is now all set to head to Morocco for the final schedule. Director Ravi K Chandran has tweeted, "About 65% of the movie is now completed and the team is left with 5 songs, 4 action sequences and 20 days of Morocco schedule."

Thulasi Nair who made her debut in Mani Ratnam's Kadal is paired opposite Jiiva in the film. Music by Harris Jayaraj and editing is taken care by Sreekar Prasad.

Simbu gets into action mode

Simbu is currently shooting for his upcoming film Vaalu in Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. Vaalu is a comedy entertainer directed by debutant Vijay Chander starring Simbu, Hansika, Santhanam and VTV Ganesh. An action sequence is current being canned. Stunt Master Dilip Subbarayan is choreographing the fight sequence.

The film shooting is likely to be wrapped soon. A single 'Lovendravan nee yaruda' was recently released. Music by Thaman.

It's Anirudh for Muni 3

Music director Anurudh has been roped in to score music for 'Muni 3', the third film in the successful 'Muni' series. The movie is tentatively titled 'Ganga' and it is directed by Raghava Lawrence. Raghava Lawrence and Taapsee play the lead roles in the film. The movie is progressing at a brisk pace.

Ilayaraja scores for Mysskin

Mysskin is set to begin his next project titled 'Onnayum Attukuttiyum'. The film is to be produced by his own production house 'Lone Wolf'. Ilayaraja is set to score the music for the film. The film is likely to go on floors in March. The details of the cast and crew is yet to be announced.

Mohanlal confirms doing Vijay's film

Malyalam superstar Mohanlal has denied the news about him doing a Malayalam film with director Arun Vaidyanathan of 'Achamundu Achamundu' fame. He has however confirmed his Tamil film where he is set to work with Vijay. Mohanlal has clarified about his upcoming projects on his social networking site.

He had said, "There has been a lot of rumors spreading regarding my upcoming projects and I would like to make this clear. I shall be doing a Tamil Movie along with Mr. Vijay scheduled to start by May. But before that I shall be doing a Malayalam Movie, of which the discussions are going on. Other than these two, no other confirmed projects as of now. Mohanlal and Vijay would be teaming for Jilla to be directed by Nesan and produced by R. B. Chowdary.

Aadhi Bhagavan New Teaser

Aadhi Bhagavan starring Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra directed by Ameer is set to hit the screens on February 22. Jayam Ravi who is eagerly looking forward to the release of the film had tweeted, "The countdown begins. 3 days! Rushing for interviews, promotions and last minute dub corrections." Music by Yuvan.
