Surya's Singam 2 is progressing in a brisk pace. The team which has wrapped the talkie portion in India is set to leave overseas this month to complete the remaining portions.

A Hollywood actor has been roped in as the villain. Producer S.R. Prabhu of Studio Green has tweeted, "The Hollywood actor playing the baddie in Suriya's Singam2 is Danny Sapani.

The overseas shooting is likely to happen in Kenya and Tanzania. Anushka and Hansika play the lead roles. The film is directed by Hari and music by Devi Sri Prasad.

Kadal Sandhya to romance Santhanam

It has been quite a while since the talented girl Sandhya of Kadhal fame has been seen in the Kollywood radar. However sources say that Sandhya has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Santhanam in Ya Ya. Ya Ya is an upcoming comedy caper starring Shiva, Santhanam in lead roles. Ramya Nambeesan of 'Pizza' fame pairs opposite Shiva. Powerstar Sreenivasan plays a pivotal role. The film is directed by Rajasekaran, a former assistant of director Rajesh. Music by Vijay Ebenezer.

Aadhi Bhagavan Title Changed

Aadhi Bhagavan directed by Ameer starring Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra in lead roles is set to hit the screens on February 22. The film title has been changed following protests from few Hindu groups that the film and its title hurt their sentiments. The film has now been titled 'Ameerin Aadhi-Bhagavan'. The film has been censored with an 'A' certificate. Yuvan has scored the music for this action entertainer. J. Anbhazhagan has produced the film.

Sundattam to release on March 1

Sundattam starring Irfan and newcomer Arundhathi in lead roles is written and directed by Brahma G Dev. The movie is based on the board game carrom, which is popular especially in North Chennai. Britto has composed the music and Aachu of Maalai Pozhudhin Mayakathilae fame has worked on the background score. The film is set to hit the screens for March 1.

A.R. Murugadoss's 'Vathikuchi' on March 8?

Vattikuchi is a thriller directed by debutant Kinslin. A.R. Murugadoss's brother Dileepan debuts as hero. Anjali plays the female lead. The film is produced by A.R. Murugadoss in association with Fox Star Studios. Music by Ghibran. The audio of the film was released recently by Vijay. The film is likely to hit the screens on March 8.
