A. R. Rahman records a song for 'I'

Shankar's I, starring Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles is fast progressing. Music director A. R. Rahman has now recorded a song for the film and he had tweeted "Just finished recording a song with Sunitha Sarathy for Shankar's I."

The shooting of the film is currently progressing in a studio in Chennai, where a huge set has been erected. A song and some talkie portions are expected to be filmed in this schedule, that would last for 20 days.

Aadhi Bhagavan censored with 'A'

Ameer's 'Aadhi Bhagavan' has been issued an 'A' certificate by the censor board. Producer Anbazhagan had tweeted "Finally Aadhi Bhagavan censored with A, yet to receive the certificate on Friday. It is an action thriller love story of Mafia wit entertainment." Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra play the lead roles. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The movie is gearing up for release on February 22.

Sun Pictures bags Kutti Puli

The latest buzz is that Sasikumar's Kutti Puli has been acquired by Sun Pictures for a huge sum from Village Theatres production company. The movie is directed by debutant Muthiah, who is a former associate of director Bhoopathi Pandian. Lakshmi Menon plays the leading lady in the film. Music is by Ghibran. The movie is expected to be released in April.
