Ameer's long in the making film 'Aadhi Bhagavan' is set to hit the screens on February 22. The film has been censored yesterday and the certification would be out today. Neetu Chandra has confirmed the release date in her microblog. She had tweeted, "Aadhi Bhagwan in theatres on 22nd February finally! I have a release after 2 and a half years before people could say NEETU ACTOR RIP"

Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra play the lead roles in this action entertainer. Yuvan has scored the music. The film is produced by J. Anbazhagan.

High Court issues notice to Mani Ratnam

Madras High Court has issued a notice to Mani Ratnam and the censor board officials based on a petition filed in the court. Recently a petitioner had appeald to the Madras High Court and sought to cancel the censor board certficate which was issued to Kadal as it has scenes which hurt Christian sentiments.

After hearing the arguments, the court issued a notice to Mani Ratnam and the censor board officials to report and produce a proper reply. Kadal starring Gautham Karthik and Thulasi hit the screens on February 1. 

Kamal's Hollywood project gets a title

That Kamal Haasan and Hollywood producer Barrie M Osborne would soon join hands for a Hollywood project is an old news. The latest buzz is that their most anticipated movie is titled 'All are Kin', which translates to 'Yavarum Kelir' in Tamil. Earlier, Barrie Osborne proposed the idea of collaborating with Kamal Haasan after he was impressed with Vishwaroopam.

Shankar camps in Hyderabad for I

The shooting of Shankar’s ‘I’ starring Vikram and Amy Jackson is progressing at a brisk pace. The team is set to camp in Hyderabad for a song shoot. Some talkie portions are also to be shot in this schedule which may last for three weeks. The film shooting has been happening in Chennai and some portions were also shot in China. The film is touted to be a romantic thriller. Music by A.R. Rahman.
