The shooting of Vijay's upcoming film 'Thalaivaa' is progressing in a brisk pace in Mumbai. According to sources, about 50% of the film shoot has been completed. Two songs in the film have been shot and three songs are remaining to be shot. An action sequence choreographed by Stunt master Silva was recently shot.
While the film is majorly shot in Mumbai, some portions of the film will be shot in Spain. Amala Paul plays the female lead while Santhanam plays a pivotal role. Music score by G.V. Prakash.

Ladoo girl signs her next
Vishakha is on cloud nine following the success of Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya which hit the screens for Pongal. The Ladoo girl has now signed a new film in Bollywood. She will pair opposite Tusshar Kapoor in the film tentatively titled Bajate Raho. Her upcoming projects include two films in Hindi and one in Malayalam. Vishaka is yet to sign any new films in Tamil and is hopeful of signing projects soon.
Kamal Haasan thanks his fans
Vishwaroopam hit the screens yesterday (Feb 7) in Tamil Nadu nearly two weeks after protests from Muslim groups led to the film being temporarily banned. The film has opened to a tremendous response. Kamal Haasan who is extremely happy with the response to his film has thanked his fans for standing by him over the last few days as he fought a legal battle to have his film shown in his home state.
In an address to the press, Kamal Haasan said, "I will never be able to repay the love and justice I have been shown. I am fortunate to be loved so much."

A.R. Murugadoss's 'Vathikuchi' audio launch on Feb 13
A.R. Murugadoss is producing his second film 'Vathikuchi' in association with Fox Star Studios after the success of critically acclaimed film 'Engeyum Eppothum'. The film stars A.R. Murugadoss's brother Dileepan and Anjali in lead roles. Vathikuchi is a thriller directed by debutant Kinslin. Music score by Ghibran of Vaagai Sooda Vaa fame. The audio of the film is to be released on February 13. The film is likely to hit the screens by the end of March.
Taapsee's 'Chashme Baddoor' Trailer
The trailer of Chashme Baddoor is out. The film, which is helmed by David Dhawan, stars Ali Zafar, Taapsee Pannu, Siddharth, Divyendu Sharma, Rishi Kapoor, Juhi Chawla and Anupam Kher in the lead roles. Taapsee Pannu makes her Bollywood debut with this film. The film is a remake of Sai Paranjpye's 1981 classic 'Chashme Buddoor'. The film is set to hit the screens on April 5.
