Earlier today, actress Samantha took to her twitter page to confirm the news of her being cast in the Tamil and Telugu remake of a critically acclaimed movie. Samantha will be seen reprising the role of Kaatru Veliyidai actress Shraddha Srinath and the film in question is 2016's Kannada super-hit, U Turn. It is worth mentioning here that U Turn was remade and released in Malayalam as Careful in 2017.
The yet untitled remakes in Tamil, Telugu will be bankrolled by Srinivaasa Silver Screen and is expected to go on floors by February, 2018. Samantha will be seen playing an intern with a leading newsdaily who sets on to uncover the truth behind mysterious deaths on a busy road. An official announcement on the rest of the cast and crew is awaited.
