Vishnuvaradhan on Ajith's film title

Fans are eagerly awaiting to know the title of Ajith's upcoming film directed by Vishnuvaradhan. While there is a buzz that the film has been named Valai, there is no official confirmation on the same. Director Vishnuvaradhan has updated in his microblog about revealing the film's title soon. He had tweeted, "And regarding the title. Waiting for the producer to give a go ahead to release. Finally it's a team decision. Will be sharing soon. Too many issues now happening. And I think it's better we edit and come easy and cool. Really I hope you all understand."

The film shooting is inching towards completion and team is set to shoot some important action sequences in Dubai this week. Arya, Nayanthara and Taapsee Pannu are also part of the cast. Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Priyamani to shakes legs with SRK

Priyamani has been reported to be shaking her legs with SRK for an item song in his upcoming film Chennai Express. Nayanthara who was earlier approached for the item number had refused the offer. Now Priyamani is said to have grabbed the opportunity. Deepika Padukone plays the female lead and the film is directed by Rohit Shetty. 

Kamal Haasan withdraws case against TN Govt

Actor Kamal Haasan has withdrawn the case against the Tamil Nadu government for imposing a ban on his movie 'Vishwaroopam'. The ban was lifted on Sunday after he agreed to a few cuts and edits in the movie. The editing of cuts is likely to take around 2 days as Aura sound has been used. Kamal is expected to announce the new date of his film Vishwaroopam's release in Tamil Nadu soon. Release likely on February 8.

Vadivelu to make his comeback

Actor Vadivelu, who was staying away from the spotlight is all set to make his comeback. He will be playing the lead role in director Yuvaraj's untitled film. Yuvaraj had earlier directed 'Potta Potti' with Sadagoppan Ramesh in the lead. His next film with Vadivelu is expected to go on floors soon. The rest of the cast and crew is yet to be finalized.

Neetu Chandra to do an item song in Settai

Neetu Chandra will appear in an item song for the multi-starrer movie 'Settai'. She will be dancing along with Arya, Santhanam and Premji for 'Laila Laila' song. Lyrics is written by Na. Muthukumar and music is by Thaman. Settai is the remake of Bollywood film 'Delhi Belly' and it is directed by Kannan. The talkie portions of the film has been wrapped and only 2 more songs are to be shot. The film is slated for a release in April. Music by Thaman.

Siddharth and Haniska play the lead roles in Sundar C's upcoming comedy caper 'Theeya Vela Seiyyanum Kumaru'. The team is set to shoot a romantic song with the lead pair Siddharth and Haniska. The first schedule of the film has been wrapped and the next schedule will resume in Hyderabad soon. Ganesh Venkatraman and Santhanam play pivotal roles. Music by Sathya. The film is produced by Kushboo Sundar.
