This Diwali three major films Suriya's 7am Arivu, Vijay's Velayutham & bollywood Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's dubbed version of Ra-One are fighting for the Tamil Nadu festival box-office.

7am Arivu becomes the first Tamil film to have a paid premiers on 25th Oct. Tickets for these paid premieres were ‘sold out’ within a few minutes after it was announced. There are about 5 screens in Chennai city who have opened booking for the paid previews & the surprising thing about this is that in a particular cineplex where 7am arivu will be releasing has a combined capacity of over 5000 seats for the 4 previews held are getting houseful in no time. This time there will more than 10000 people who will catch the preview on 25th evening.

This is turning out to be the biggest ever Diwali season for Kollywood since 2007 where films of these same actors had a clash at the box office & 2 of them came out with flying colors.
