Taapsee wraps up Chennai schedule

Taapsee was shooting in Chennai for the first schedule of Muni 3. The first schedule of the film has been wrapped. Taapsee had tweeted, "First schedule wrapped up in Chennai for Lawrance sir's movie. Some really funny scenes shot this time! Off to Delhi!!!"

The film is the third installment of the Muni series. Lawrence and Taapsee Pannu play the lead roles in this horror comedy film. 'Muni 3' is directed by Lawrence. The film is a bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously.

Nayanthara refuses to do an item song in SRK's film 

The hot diva Nayanthara has been approached to do an item song in Bollywood film 'Chennai Express'. Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone play the lead roles in Chennai Express directed by Rohit Shetty. Chennai Express is about the story of a man who travels from Mumbai to Rameshwaram and what happens during the journey forms the crux of the movie.

Director Rohit Shetty wanted a popular actor from the south for an item song and had wanted to rope in the happening actor Nayanthara for the song. Nayanthara who is quite busy with her projects in South has refused to do the item song.

Post the success of 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya', Power Star Srinivasan has been flooded with a lot of offers. The latest buzz is that he has bagged a role in 'Singam 2', directed by Hari. Singam 2, the sequel of blockbuster film 'Singam', has Suriya, Anushka, Hansika, Santhanam and Vivek in the lead roles. Meanwhile, Power Star is also acting in Shankar's 'I' and 'Ya Ya'.

Mani Ratnam's 'Kadal' is one of the most awaited films this year. The film is set to hit the screens on February 1. Kadal advance booking starts tomorrow. The film will be released in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Gautham Karthik, Thulasi Nair play the lead roles. Arjun, Aravindsamy and Lakshmi Manchu play supporting cast. Music by A.R. Rahman.
