The much awaited first look of Surya's action entertainer 'Singam 2' is all set to be revealed on January 26. Singam 2 is the sequel to Singam released in 2010. Director Hari is weilding the megaphone again. Anushka and Hansika play the female leads. The film shooting has been progressing well in the southern districts of TamilNadu. The latest we hear is that 80% of the film shooting has been wrapped. The team is set to shoot the remaining portions in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Devi Sri Prasad scores the music. The film is produced by Studio Green.

Is Simbu doing a cameo in Biriyani?

Simbu who is busy shooting for Vaalu is said to have dropped into the sets of Biriyani. Biriyani starring Karthi, Hansika and Premgi Amaren is directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film shooting is progressing in a brisk pace. Simbu's visit to the sets has raised the question as to whether he is doing a cameo in Biriyani or it had been just a casual visit. We need to wait for the director to reveal if Simbu has got a part in Biriyani. Yuvan is scoring the music for Biriyani.

Will Susi Ganesan make a mark in Bollywood?

Susi Ganesan of 'Kandasamy' fame is busy with his Bollywood debut project Shortcut Romeo which is the remake of his tamil film 'Thiruttu Payale'. The director had taken a sabbatical from Tamil Cinema for around 3 years and has been working hard to prove himself in Bollywood with his debut film. Neil Nitin Mukesh, Ameesha Patel, Puja Gupta play the lead roles in this romantic thriller. Susi Ganesan is almsot done with his film which is likely to hit the screens in April. 

Vishwaroopam released in Malaysia today

The Tamil Nadu government has imposed a ban on the much awaited film Vishwaroopam for 15 days. The news has shocked the entire film fraternity and film viewers all over as everybody has been eagerly awaiting the release of the film. The film however has been released in Malayasia today. Prakash Raj had tweeted, “Spoke to distributors and people of malaysia. It's a Muslim country and the censor board has cleared Vishwaroopam released the film today. People who saw the Film in Malaysia say there is nothing against Muslims to worry. It's a wonderful film by Kamal sir.” 

Mohanlal's 'Lokpal' Trailer

Lokpal is an upcoming Malayalam thriller film written by S. N. Swamy and directed by Joshiy. The film stars Mohanlal and Kavya Madhavan in the lead roles. The film is scheduled to release on 31 January 2013.
