Dhanush Sargunam film titled Naiyaandi

Dhanush Sargunam film titled Naiyaandi

Dhanush is set to begin his new project with Sargunam from February. The film which was earlier titled 'Sotta Vazakutty' has now been titled 'Naiyaandi'. The film is touted to be a commercial entertainer. The team is yet to finalise the leading lady of the film. The latest we hear is Mollywood heroine Nazriya Nazim has been approached for the role. Nazriya Nazim is currently doing her first Tamil film, Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah, which has Jai in the lead. Talks are on with the actor but nothing has been firmed up yet. The film is produced by Kathir Productions.

Muslim organisations demand ban on Vishwaroopam

Muslim organisations have demanded a ban on Kamal Haasan’s magnum opus Vishwaroopam which is set to hit the screens on January 25 as the film would affect the social harmony in the state. The representatives of various muslim organizations have met the City Police Commissioner demanding a ban on the film.

M H Jawahirullah, MLA and President, Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam has said that they are also planning to meet the Home Secretary in this regard. He also further added that the issue may also be taken to the court if required.

Settai's new trailer along with Vishwaroopam

The new trailer of 'Settai' will be screened along with Kamal Haasan's 'Vishwaroopam' from January 25. Directed by Kannan, the movie has Arya, Hansika, Anjali, Santhanam and Premji in the lead roles.

UTV Dhananjayan had earlier tweeted "Settai new trailer is finally ready and delighted to get the approval from Kamal sir to add with Viswharoopam releasing on 25th. New trailer is colourful, fast and complete entertainer." The trailer will be released on Youtube on January 26. Meanwhile, the audio of the movie will be launched on January 30. Music by Thaman.

Sundar C's TVSK first schedule wrapped

Sundar C who began shooting for his new comedy caper 'Theeya Vela Seiyanum Kumar' is said to have wrapped the first schedule of the film. Siddharth, Hansika, Ganesh Venkatraman and Santhanam play lead roles. Ganesh Venkatraman who was part of the first schedule had tweeted, "Finishd a schedule of TVSK with a fun party sequence. So much fun shooting with Sundar C sir. Love his sense of Humor! The film is produced by Kushboo Sundar.

Sundar C's 'Madha Gaja Raja' starring Vishal, Anjali, Varu Sarathkumar and Santhanam is set to hit the screens on February.

Sillunu Oru Sandhippu Promo Song
