Studio Green not releasing Paradesi

Studio Green not releasing Paradesi

Bala's 'Paradesi' starring Atharva, Vedhika and Dhansika is one of the most awaited film which is expected to be released in February. The latest buzz is that Studio Green has bagged the distribution rights of the film. The production house Studio green has denied the news as rumours. Music is scored by G. V. Prakash Kumar. The movie is touted to revolve around the lives of tea plantation workers in pre-independence era.

Studio Green buys Suseenthiran's 'AKS'

Studio Green has bought the rights of Suseenthiran's 'Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer'. Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer is an upcoming romance film starring debutant Santhosh Ramesh and Manisha Yadav of Vazhakku Enn 18/9 fame in the lead roles. Yuvan has scored the music. 

Studio green is currently producing Biriyani, Singam 2 and All in All Azhaghu Raja. The production house has also acquired the rights of Pandiraj's 'Kedi Billa Khilladi Ranga' starring Siva Karthikeyan and Vimal in lead roles.

Udayanidhi finally grabs Vishwaroopam

Udaynidhi Stalin's 'Red Gaint Movies' have acquired the distribution rights of Kamal's Vishwaroopam for Salem area. The actor-producer who had earlier denied distributing Vishwaroopam has now revealed that he has turned distributor for the Salem area. He had tweeted, "Red Giant has bought the distribution rights of Ulaga Naayagans VISWAROOPAM for just 1 area in TN! (SALEM area). Rest of the areas sold out!"

Kamal's Vishwaroopam is set to hit the screens on January 25. Udayanidhi is currently busy promoting Santhanam's 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya'. His second film Idhu Kadhirvelan Kadhal is set to go on floors soon.

Jayam Ravi and Trisha duet song shoot

Jayam Ravi and Trisha play the lead roles in Boologam directed by N. Kalyanakrishnan and produced by Aascar Films. Jayam Ravi plays a boxer based in North Chennai and Trisha plays his love interest. Trisha will also be seen as a Boxing analyst. The team is currently shooting a duet song in the city with the lead pair Jayam Ravi and Trisha. Music by Srikanth Deva.

Vishal with Sundar C again?

It looks like Vishal and Sundar C might team up again after 'Madha Gaja Raja'. Initially, Sundar C wanted to cast Vishal in a triple role for a film, but the project got shelved due to various reasons. The duo then moved on to MGR. Now, after completing MGR, they are planning to start the dropped project soon. More details regarding the film are awaited.

Anirudh has scored the music for 'Yun Hi Re' song in David directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Vikram, Jiiva (Tamil), Vinay Virmani, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Lara Dutta, Tabu, Isha Sharvani and Nasser are part of David. The film is set to hit the screens on February 1.
