Vaalu single on Simbu's birthday

Vaalu single on Simbu's birthday

The teaser of 'Lovenraven nee yaaruda?' sung and penned by Simbu was released yesterday. The single track of 'Lovenraven nee yaaruda' is to be released on February 3, which happens to be Simbu's birthday as well. The audio of the film is likely to be launched on Valentine's day (Feb 14). Thaman has scored the music. 

Vaalu is a comedy entertainer directed by debutant Vijay Chander starring Simbu, Santhanam, VTV Ganesh and Hansika. The film shooting is currently in progress.

Vijay TV snaps Kadal rights

Vijay TV has emerged victorious again! The popular television channel has acquired the satellite rights of the most expected film 'Kadal' directed by Mani Ratnam. The TV channel has successfully bought the rights for an undisclosed fancy price from Gemini Film Circuit. Kadal starring Gautham Karthik, Thulasi Nair, Arjun, Aravindsamy and Lakshmi Manchu is set to hit the screens on February 1. Music by A.R. Rahman.

Jayam Ravi and Jiiva to team up?

It looks like director SP Jananathan of 'Peranmai' fame might soon start a multi-starrer film with Jayam Ravi and Jiiva in the lead. The movie is tentatively titled 'Thooku Thandanai' and is touted to be an action entertainer. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalized. The movie is expected to go on floors soon.

Sasikumar's next in April

Sasikumar's upcoming film Kutti Puli is likely to hit the screens for April. Kutti Puli starring Sasikumar and Lakshmi Menon in lead roles is directed by Muthaiah and produced by S. Muruganandam. Music by Ghibran of Vaagai Sooda Vaa fame. The film shooting has reached its final stage.

Sundar C starts shooting for TVSK

Sundar C who has wrapped up his comedy caper 'Madha Gaja Raja' starring Vishal, Anjali and Varu Sarathkumar has started the shooting for his next film 'Theeya Vela Seiyaanum Kumaru'. Siddharth, Hansika, Santhanam and Ganesh Venkatraman play the lead roles. The film shooting commenced on January 13. Ganesh Venkatraman who has joined the shoot had tweeted, "Shooting with TVSK team. Full on fun with Sundar C, Siddharth and Hansika". The film is produced by Khusboo Sundar. Meanwhile the release date of Madha Gaja Raja is yet to be announced.
