Vijay Sethupathi's Karuppan holds steady

Vijay Sethupathi's Karuppan has held on well after a decent extended opening weekend of 4 days when it grossed around 10 CR in TN. After the first week, the film has grossed around 13 CR in the state.

With no new releases and a decent word of mouth among rural mass masala fans (despite very average reviews), Karuppan will hold its own till Diwali for sure.

Meanwhile, Vijay Sethupathi has gone ahead to shoot for director Gokul's Junga in France and his striking new look has caught the eye.
