Vijay Sethupathi's Karuppan TN opening report

Vijay Sethupathi starrer Karuppan, directed by Paneer Selvam, has opened to average reviews and a decent opening at the boxoffice. The film has reportedly grossed 2.3 CR on Day1 in TN, with Chennai city giving a gross of 28 lakhs. Karuppan is expected to be steady till at least Oct 2nd.

With ordinary talk, we have to see how this typical rural mass masala sustains in the long run. It definitely won't be a Kavan or Vikram Vedha for Vijay Sethupathi but it's definitely doing better than his most recent Puriyaatha Puthir.
