Indian 2 is happening, for real!

We had reported a few weeks back that Kamal Haasan and Shankar would be reuniting for Indian 2, a sequel to their most celebrated 1996 blockbuster. It's being buzzed now in media circles that the sequel would be a Tamil - Telugu bilingual to be produced by leading producer Dil Raju. An official announcement about Indian 2 can be expected anytime soon, it seems.

With Kamal seriously considering a political entry in the coming days, Shankar's Indian 2 looks like the best possible vehicle for him to get across his political vision to a huge cross section of masses all over the world. Let's wait and watch what's going to unfold in this regard. But such an exciting prospect and another possible sureshot blockbuster for the two legends!
