Vijay teams up with Mohanlal for his next?
Vijay is currently busy shooting for his upcoming project directed by A.L. Vijay. That Ilayathalapathy is set to work with debutant Nesan next for a new project to be produced by R.B. Chowdary is old news. The latest we hear is Vijay and Mollywood Superstar Mohanlal will be teaming up for this new project which is buzzed to be titled 'Jilla'.
Kajal Agarwal who paired opposite Vijay in Thuppakki is said to have been roped to play the female lead. Imman will be scoring the music. The film is likely to go on floors after Vijay wraps his current project. However an official confirmation is awaited.

Kadal Trailer with Alex Pandian
The much anticipated theatrical trailer of Mani Ratnam's Kadal will be shown along with Karthi's 'Alex Pandian' from today. Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair are making their debut with this film. The movie is slated for release on 1st February. The trailers of Pandirja's 'Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga' and Suseenthran's Aadhalal Kadhal Seiveer will also be screened during the intermission of Alex Pandian.
Nayan waiting for Arya
Arya, Nayanthara and Jai are playing the lead roles in Raja Rani directed by debutant Atlee Kumar, a former assistant of director Shankar. The film shooting is currently in progress. The scenes involving Nayanthara and Jai have been shot. Nayan who has wrapped her portions with Jai needs to start shooting with Arya.
Arya is currently busy shooting for Settai, Irandam Ulagam and untilted Ajith Vishnu project. He is expected to join the shoots once he is done with his current commitments. Meanwhile Nayanthara would begin shooting with Udayanidhi for 'Idhu Kadhirvelan Kadhal' from the end of this month.
Aadhi in Mirugam 2
Aadhi, who made his debut in Tamil with 'Mirugam' is expected to do the sequel of the film. The movie is tentatively titled 'Mirugam-2' and will be directed by Samy, who had earlier directed Mirugam. Aadhi is currently awaiting the release of his bilingual film 'Maranthen Mannithen'. He is also a part of Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan cast.
STR's 'Vaalu' single soon
Vaalu starring Simbu, Hansika, Santhanam and VTV Ganesh is a comedy entertainer directed by debutant Vijay Chander. Thaman has scored the music. A single track from the film is to be unveiled soon. Simbu had tweeted, "Vaalu single song releasing soon. Lovenraven nee yaruda? Yenn munadi vandhu ninnu paruda!!!" Simbu's upcoming films Vaalu and Vettaimannan are expected to hit the screens this year.
'Maria Pitache' song from Vikram's David
David is a bilingual film directed by Bejoy Nambiar which is set to hit the screens on February 1. Vikram, Jiiva (Tamil), Vinay Virmani, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tabu, Isha Sharvani play the lead roles. 'Maria Pitache' song from David is composed by Remo Fernandes. Remo Fernandes and Vikram have sung this song. Checkout the promo of 'Maria Pitache' song!
