Uday Nayan's film gets a tilte
Udaynidhi's next film has been titled 'Idhu Kathirvelan Kadhal'. Nayanthara plays the female lead in this romantic comedy directed by S.R. Prabhakaran of 'Sundarapanidan' fame. Santhanam who rocked with Udayanidhi in OKOK is also part of the project. Music score by Harris Jayaraj. The film is produced by Udayanidhi's 'Red Giant Movies'. The film is likely to go on floors by the end of this month.

K.S. Ravikumar in a comedy caper
Ace director K.S. Ravikumar is currently busy with his Bollywood debut project which is the the Hindi remake of the blockbuster film 'Saamy' starring Sanjay Dutt, Prachi Desai and Prakash Raj. The director amidst his packed schedules had done a cameo appearance in the upcoming comedy caper 'Onbadhula Guru' directed by debutant P.T. Selvakumar. Vinay, Premgi Amaran, Sathyan, Aravind Akash and Lakshmi Rai play the lead roles. Music by K of Mugamoodi fame.
Big day for Gautham and Thulasi
The audio of Kadali (Telugu Kadal) is being launched today in Hyderabad amidst Tollywood celebrities. Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair who make their debut in Kadal will be attending the audio launch function in Hyderabad. This is the first time the duo are making a public appearance. The film is directed by Mani Ratnam and is set to hit the screens on February 1.
Gautham Karthik had tweeted, "On my way to Hyderabad for the Audio Launch of Kadali. First public appearance. Nervous". Thulasi Nair who is also excited and nervous has tweeted, "Today is the big day when Gautham and I will be launched! So excited yet nervous" A. R. Rahman has scored the music and the songs are already topping the charts.
Anirudh starts work on his next project
Anirudh is on cloud nine after the overwhelming response to his recently released albums Ethir Neechal and David. Anirudh had tweeted, "My aim in this vast music world is not to make one or two hit songs per album but work equally hard on each and every song trying to achieve the success of the album as a whole! Been lucky and blessed to have had that privilege till now. Responsibilities and pressures increase day by day but my passion for music will never change."
Anirudh has already begun work on his next untitled project to be directed by Kiruthiga Udayanidhi who makes her debut as director. Anirudh has composed a tune for a song penned by Madhan Karky. Shiva and Priya Anand play the lead role in this romantic comedy. The film is produced by Udayanidhi's 'Red Giant Movies'. The pre-production work of the film is currently in progress.
