Selvaragavan's 'Irandam Ulagam' wrapped

Selvaraghavan has completed the shoot of his ambitious project 'Irandam Ulagam' except for a song. The post production work of the film is progressing in full swing. Irandam Ulagam is a period film that has been in the making for quite some time. Arya and Anushkha play the lead roles and will be sporting dual roles. Irandam Ulagam spans into the contemporary period too - a blend of the past and the present. Music by Harris Jayaraj. Irandam Ulagam is one of the expected films this year.

Dhanush who is busy shooting for Anand L Rai's 'Raanjhnaa' is said to have crooned his voice for a song in Irandam Ulagam. The actor has readily agreed to sing a song for his brother's upcoming venture in spite of his packed schedules. The audio of Irandam Ulagam is expected to be released soon.

Kamal Haasan seeks police protection

Kamal Haasan has lodged a police complaint against certain miscreants who have been threatening him for his DTH premiere plan on January 10th. The miscreants have reportedly warned him of intentional power cuts during the premiere show and making illegal pirated copies. Kamal Haasan has asked police to take necessary action and also give protection for screens that release Vishwaroopam.

Prakash Raj opts out of SJ Surya's film

Isai is an upcoming musical thriller directed by S.J. Surya who has also donned the cap of a musician for the film. Newbie Savithiri plays the female lead. Prakash Raj who was to play a pivotal role in the film has opted out because of his other commitments. Prakash Raj being busy with many projects across various film industries is not able to readjust his dates to accommodate SJ Surya's film. 

Prabha's 'Mirchi' Trailer

Mirchi is an upcoming Telugu film written and directed by debutante Koratala Siva. The film stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty and Richa Gangopadhyay in the lead roles. Music has been scored by Devi Sri Prasad. The film is scheduled to release on February 8, 2013.
