Puriyaatha Puthir heroine in Vijay Sethupathi's Aneethi Kathaigal 

Actor Vijay Sethupathi's long-delayed Puriyaatha Puthir is all set for a release on September 1, 2017. At this time, reports have emerged confirming lead actress Gayathrie's presence in yet another Vijay Sethupathi film, Aneethi Kathaigal. Apparently, this is the actress' sixth collaboration with the lead actor after Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom, Rummy, Puriyaatha Puthir, and the yet unreleased Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren and Seethakathi. 

Written and directed by Thiagaraja Kumaraja, Aneethi Kathaigal is said to be an intense film with Yuvan Shankar Raja for the music, P.S. Vinod for cinematography and Sathyaraj Natarajan for the edits. Also starring Samantha and Fahad Fassil, the film is co-written by Mysskin and Nalan Kumarasamy.
