Vikram Prabhu has signed his next film with UTV Motion Pictures. The movie is titled 'Sigaram Thodu' and it will be directed by Gaurav of 'Thoonga Nagaram' fame. The movie is touted to be an action entertainer. The pre-production work had begun yesterday and the shooting is expected to commence from April. The rest of the cast and crew will be finalized soon. Vikram Prabhu is currently busy shooting for 'Ivan Veramathiri'.

Prasanna begins New Year with Kalyana Samayal Sadham

Actor Prasanna and Lekha Washington would be teaming up for the comedy caper 'Kalyana Samayal Saadham' (KSS) to be directed by R.S. Prasanna. The film is produced by Arun Vaidyanathan who earlier directed Prasanna Sneha starrer 'Achamundu Achamundu'. The film starts rolling from today.

Prasanna who is happy to begin his new year with KSS had tweeted, "Starting shoot for Kalyana Samayal Saadam today. 2013 has started off well with good line up. For the first time doing a Telugu film with Nagarjuna sir. Then a film with my friend Marimuthu who did Kannum Kannum earlier with me. And next with Arun Vaidhyanathan and Rajan Madhav."

Gautham Karthik denies doing Prabhu Solomon's film

Gautham Karthik is eagerly awaiting the release of his debut film Kadal directed by Mani Ratnam. Some sections of media reported the actor having signed his second film with director Prabhu Solomon of Kumki fame. The film is to be produced by Madhan of Escape Artist Motion Pictures. The actor has denied the news as rumour in his microblog. He had tweeted, "I have not signed any other projects as of yet. Will let you know the moment I do"

The much awaited Kadal is set to hit the screens on February 1. The music of Kadal composed by A.R. Rahman is already creating waves among the audience.

Dama Dam song from Vikram's 'David'

David is a bilingual film made in Tamil and Hindi directed by Bejoy Nambiar. Vikram, Jiiva (Tamil), Nasser, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Vinay Virmani, Tabu, Isha Sharvani are part of the cast. The audio launch of David is happening today in Chennai at Rani Seethai Hall at 6.30 p.m.
