Vikram's David audio release
The audio of David is set to be launched on January 3 at Rani Seethai Hall in Chennai. Anirudh has scored a single track for both the versions. The other artists who have worked on David's music album include Prashant Pillai, Mikey McCleary, Remo, Bramfatura, Maati Baani, Modern Mafia, Light Years Explode and Dub Sharma.
David is a bilingual film made in Tamil and Telugu simultaneously. Vikram, Jiiva, Vinay Virmani, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tabu, Isha Sharvani, Lara Dutta and Nasser are part of the cast. Jiiva will be seen only in the Tamil version. The film is directed by Bejoy Nambiar and the film is set to hit the screens on February 1.

Vijay begins after New Year!
Vijay has wrapped the first schedule of his untitled film in Mumbai. The film is directed by A.L. Vijay. Amala Paul plays the lead role. The team will resume shooting in January. The next schedule is likely to begin on January 9 in Mumbai. A month long schedule has been planned in Mumbai. Music by G.V. Prakash.
Udayanidhi's new project with Shiva
Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, wife of Udhayanidhi Stalin, is making her directorial debut soon with a romantic comedy film. The film will have Shiva and Priya Anand in the lead roles. Santhanam will be seen in a vital role. Anirudh scores the music for the film. Meanwhile, Shiva is awaiting the release of his 'Sonnaa Puriyadhu'.
Udayanidhi is all set to begin the shooting of his next film to be directed by S.R. Prabhakaran of 'Sundarapandian' fame in January. Nayanthara will play the female lead and Santhanam plays a pivotal role. Music by Harris Jayaraj. Red Giants will be producing both the films.
Vimal and Lakshmi Menon pair up
Director Sargunam of 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' fame is turning producer with a film titled 'Manja Pai'. The film will be produced by his own production house 'A Sargunam Cinemaz'. Manja Pai will be directed by his assistant Raghavan. Vimal and Lakshmi Menon of 'Kumki' fame will be play the lead roles. Music by Ghibran of 'Vaagai Sooda Vaa' fame. The film will start rolling from February. Director Lingusamy's 'Thirupathi Brothers' has already acquired the film rights.
Sargunam's next project 'Sotta Vazhakutty with Dhanush is likely to begin soon.
