Dhanush on Mariyaan and Raanjhanaa

Dhanush's Mariyaan, directed by Bharat Bala is nearing completion. Dhanush had earlier tweeted "Mariyaan is done, only 10 days patch work is left." Parvathi Menon plays the leading lady in the film. Ace music director A R Rahman scores music for the film.

Raanjhnaa, directed by Anand L. Rai is progressing in Kasi and the crew is currently shooting for A R Rahman's title track in the film. Sonam Kapoor plays Dhanush's love interest in the movie. The movie will release on June 28th next year.

Premgi shoots mass song for Settai

A mass song from the film 'Settai' will be shot with Premgi today. Arya, Santhanam, Haniska and Anjali are also part of the cast. The film is set to hit the screens in February 2013. The film shooting is inching towards completion. The audio will be out on January 30. Thaman has scored the music. 

Premgi is busy shooting for Biriyani and  Settai today. The actor had tweeted, "Shooting for 2 films today 7am to 1pm BIRIYANI fight 2pm to 2am SETTAI song. Yappadi irunda nan ippadi aiyiten"

Akshay Kumar in Ramana remake

Bollywood designer Shabina Khan has bagged the remake rights of 'Ramana', which was directed by A R Murugadoss. The remake version will have Akshay Kumar reprising the role of Vijayakanth and the film is expected to go on floors in mid-2013. The details regarding the director, leading lady and rest of the crew will be announced soon.

Udhayanidhi's next from January

Udhayanidhi Stalin's next project as hero with director Prabhakaran of 'Sundarapandian' fame will go on floors in January. Nayantara is paired opposite Udhayanidhi in the film. Santhanam will be seen in a pivotal role, similar to Udhay's debut film OKOK. The movie will be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. Balasubramaniem will handle the camera for the film. The rest of the cast and crew will be finalized soon.

Nasser out of Vijay's film

Vijay's next film with director A.L. Vijay is progressing at a brisk pace. The film shooting is currently happening in Mumbai. Amala Paul plays the female lead in this mass action entertainer. Nasser who had been signed up for an important role in the film has now been replaced by Ponvannan. G.V. Prakash is scoring the music and the film is produced by Chandra Prakash Jain. The film shooting will happen in Chennai after the Mumbai schedule is wrapped.

Scary Movie 5 trailer

Scary Movie 5 is an upcoming American horror comedy film. It is the fifth film in the Scary Movie franchise. The film is directed by Malcolm D. Lee and written by David Zucker. The film is scheduled for theatrical release on April 19, 2013. 

Scary Movie 5 is the first installment of the franchise not to feature protagonist's Cindy Campbell (played by Anna Faris) or Brenda Meeks (Regina Hall), who appeared in the first four movies.
