Samar release postponed
Samar starring Vishal,Trisha and Suniana in the lead directed by Thiru was initially slated for release on December 28. The release has now been postponed to Pongal. Director Thiru had confirmed in his microblog by tweeting "Samar will not be releasing on 28th December, pushed the release for better date." Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja and cinematography is handled by Richard M. Nathan. Vishal's 'Madha Gaja Raja' directed by Sundar C is also targeting a Pongal release.
Single track from MGR launched
Madha Gaja Raja starring Vishal, Anjali and Varu Sarathkumar is a comedy entertainer directed by Sundar C. The film is likely to hit the screens for Pongal. Vijay Anthony has scored the music. A single track 'My dear loveruuu' sung by the lead actor Vishal was aired yesterday evening at Hello FM. Vishal and Varu Sarathkumar were present during the single track launch.
Varu Sarathkumar had tweeted, "Single audio launch of MGR with Vishal at Hello fm. By the way it's the song that Vishal sang. My dear loveruuu finally out! Enjoy!".
Simbu and Anirudh do it together
Multifaceted actor Simbu and Anirudh of '3' fame have crooned a song each for 'Backbench Student'. Anirudh has sung the title track of the film and Simbu has sung a peppy number. Directed by Madhura Sridhar, the movie is a bilingual in Tamil and Telugu. Music is by Sunil Kashyap.
Suriya and Karthi at Alex Pandian musical night
Karthi, Anushka starrer Alex Pandian is set to hit the screens on January 11, 2013. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for this action entertainer directed by Suraaj. Studio Green has produced the film and the promotions of the film have kick started in full swing. As part of promotions, the video of Bad Boy song was released recently.
The makers have next organised a grand musical night for Alex Pandian on December 30 evening at YMCA, Royapettah. Devi Sri Prasad and other leading artist will be part of the function. Karthi and Suriya will also be attending the event. DSP will perform all songs from Alex Pandian and from Suriya's films.
Dhoom: 3 Logo Revealed
Dhoom: 3 is an upcoming action film and the third installment in the Dhoom series, directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The movie has Aamir Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Watch the logo of the film here.
