Lawrence begins Muni 3

Lawrence begins Muni 3

The third installment of Raghava Lawrence's horror series Muni will go on floors from January next year. A formal pooja for the film was held yesterday. Raghava Lawrence will act and direct this film. Taapsee is paired opposite him in the film. The title of the film will be announced soon. Meanwhile, the 3D version of 'Kanchana' (Muni 2) is expected to be released soon.

Vairamuthu reveals Kochadaiyaan lyrics

As reported earlier, Vairamuthu has revealed the lyrics of 'Seenthee Vizhundha' song from Kochadaiyaan with the consent of Superstar in his microblog. Here goes the first few lines of the song.

சிறைப்பிடிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கிறார் தளபதி இளைய ரஜினி. அழுதுபாடுகிறாள் அவர் காதலியான இளவரசி தீபிகா படுகோனே. சரித்திரக் கதையாதலால், சங்கத் தமிழில் நடக்கிறது பாட்டு:

Kochadiyaan is one of the most awaited films starring Rajnikanth, Deepika Padukone, Sarathkumar, Jackie Shroff, Shobana and Aadhi. The film directed by Soundarya Ashwin has music by A.R. Rahman. The post production work of the film is currently in progress. 

Bharathi Raja targets Pongal for AKKV?

Bharathi Raja is all set for the release of his upcoming film Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum starring Manoj Bharathiraja, Karthika Nair, Lakshman Narayanan in lead roles. According to sources, the director is planning to release the film for Pongal. A grand audio launch event is also being planned which is likely to happen in Madurai. G.V. Prakash has scored the music. Vairamuthu and Gangai Amaren have penned the lyrics.

Pizza goes to Sandalwood

The much appreciated film 'Pizza' is all set to woo the Sandalwood audience as the film will be remade in Kannada soon. Chiranjeevi Sarja and Pranitha of 'Saguni' fame will reprise the roles played by Vijay Sethupathi and Remya Nambeesan in the original version respectively. The movie will start rolling from January and it will be directed by Prashanth Raj.

New trailer from 'The Great Gatsby'

A new trailer of Baz Luhrmann's 'The Great Gatsby' has been released. The star cast includes Leonardo Di Caprio as Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway and Carey Mulligan. Amitabh Bachchan makes a special appearance as Meyer Wolfsheim. The film is slated for a release in May next year.
