Dileep denied bail Mollywood continues to condemn his involvement in the actress abduction case
Actor Dileep who was arrested in connection to the actress abduction case was at the Angamaly Judicial Magistrate court for the case proceedings. Dileep’s lawyer Ramkumar appeared for the actor and pleaded Dileep as not guilty. The actor is also said to have applied for bail, but the court rejected his plea and sent him for further questioning under police custody. With the matter in court, investigation will steam up with the cops looking for further evidence in the case.
Meanwhile the arrest has rather sent the whole industry in a shock, as they continue to vent out their views on knowing the other face of the actor. Actress Mamta Mohandas feels this issue has tarnished Mollywood’s image and could have easily been solved with mutual talks. While there is some occasional support for the actor, many technicians have started to talk about their own experience with Dileep. Script writer Rafeeq revealed that he knew Dileep’s original personality for a long time and has seen the actor peeking around change rooms. Navya Nair who debuted alongside Dileep was equally shocked on knowing the arrest; she further extended her support to the actress who remained strong on the whole issue. Another reputed actor Asif Ali said he could not imagine someone plotting such evil plans on a woman and cannot think of working with Dileep in the future.
Apart from actors, even the politicians in the state have gone out condemning the actor’s actions. Some politicians lauded the police in bringing the accused to justice, while others like MP Sreenithi said that Dileep’s involvement in the case was known all along and it was only a matter of time before he was deemed guilty. If the court proceedings were to prove Dileep guilty, the actor could get up to life term based on the charges pressed against him.
