Mani Ratnam's next film to begin shooting

Director Mani Ratnam's next untitled project is in the news again with new updates. The film which was earlier rumoured to have Ram Charan in the lead but has now confirmed to be otherwise, is expected to begin shooting from September, 2017. To be bankrolled by Mani Ratnam’s Madras Talkies, the film will have music by A.R. Rahman. Latest update also confirms that the movie's cinematography will be taken care of by Santosh Sivan who is currently working on A.R.Murugadoss's Spyder. Also this is the sixth time for Santosh Sivan with the director after Thalapathi, Dil Se, Iruvar, Roja and Raavanan. Touted to be a bilingual, the team is yet to finalise its lead cast.
