Happy Birthday Superstar Rajinikanth

Every year, Superstar Rajinikanth's birthday is being celebrated by his millions of fans worldwide. This year is extra special for the fans as his birthday falls on 12.12.12, a rare occurrence which happens only once in 100 years. Not just the fans, even the celebrities from the tinsel town have been pouring their wishes for Rajinikanth via their social networking accounts.

Naman Ramachandran's 'Rajinikanth - The Definitive Biography' and Director Suresh Krishna's 'My Days With Baasha' are the two books on Rajinikanth that will be released today. Also, a special song on Rajinikanth was released by Lawrence Raghavendra and Vijay Antony few days back.

Also, the most anticipated Sivaji 3D is hitting the screens today. The movie is expected to be a visual extravaganza as the efforts of Shankar, K V Anand and Thotta Tharani will be seen more profoundly in the 3D version. The movie has managed to get bigger screens in the multiplexes and most of the shows are sold out for today. Rajinikanth has addressed his fans through a video, wherein he has said that the film will be the birthday gift to his fans.

Rajinikanth is currently involved in the post-production work of Kochadaiyaan and the movie is expected to release early next year. Rumour mills have been stating that he would do a film with Mani Ratnam or K V Anand next. But, there is no official word yet. Right now, his fans are more than happy to watch his magnum opus Sivaji, wearing the 3D glasses.
