A.R. Rahman to score music for Vasantha Balan's film

Director Vasantha Balan of 'Aravaan' fame has started working on his next project titled 'Kaaviya Thalaivan'. Siddharth has been roped in to play the lead role. The pre-production work of the film is currently in progress. The latest we hear is A.R. Rahman will be scoring the music for the film. Writer Jeyamohan who is working on the script of the film has revealed that A.R. Rahman will be scoring music for Kaaviya Thalaivan.

Sasikumar to romance Lakshmi Menon again

Sasikumar post the success of Sundarapandian is set to work on his next project 'Kutti Puli'. Sasikumar will team up with Lakshmi Menon once again in his next film. The movie is touted to revolve around friendship and is expected to go on floors soon. The film is directed by Muthiah. Meanwhile, Lakshmi Menon is awaiting the release of her most expected film 'Kumki' on December 14.

Sneha signs Prakash Raj's film

Sneha, who is waiting for the release of 'Haridas' directed by GNR Kumaravelan has signed her next film. The movie titled 'Un Samayal Araiyil' would be directed and produced by Prakash Raj. The movie is the remake of Malayalam film Salt N' Pepper. Prakash Raj and Tabu are also part of the cast. Music will be scored by Ilaiyaraaja and the project is expected to start rolling from February 2013.

G.V. Prakash's next album from Dec 14

The audio of Naan Rajavaga Pogiren starring Nakul, Chandni and newcomer Avani Modi in the lead roles is set to be released on December 14. The film is directed by Prithvi Rajkumar and music has been scored by G.V. Prakash. G.V. Prakash is excited about his album and has said that NRVP audio is for college crowd. Simbu has rendered his voice for a peppy track 'Kalaipom'. Dhanush is said to be the chief guest for the audio launch function.

Legendary action film actor Jackie Chan has been awarded with two new Guiness World Records titles for his remarkable performance in his latest film Chinese Zodiac, which would be released soon. He was awarded with 'Most credits in one movie' and 'Most stunts by a living actor' titles during an event in Shanghai. Apparently, Chinese Zodiac would be Jackie Chan's last action film.
