The single track 'Nenjukulle' from Mani Ratnam's Kadal will be aired on select radio stations and will be available for digital downloads from today. The unplugged version of the song was already performed by A. R. Rahman for a popular music channel and it became a chart buster already. The song is sung by Shakhthisree Gopalan and Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics. With the single being aired from today, we can expect the audio to be launched soon. The movie will be the debut vehicle for Gautham Karthik and Thulasi Nair.

Dhanush to do a Kuthu number in Ethir Neechal

Dhanush is busy shooting for 'Raanjhnaa' and 'Mariyaan'. The actor has turned producer for Siva Karthikeyan and Priya Anand starrer 'Ethir Neechal'. Anirudh who rocked with Dhanush in his debut film '3' is scoring the music. Dhanush has penned the lyrics for two songs.

The Kolaveri actor will also be performing for a Kuthu number in the film. Dhanush has tweeted, "Glad to share that I will be dancing for a song in my production Edhir Neechal. Feeling awkward yet excited. Kuthu paattu after ages! Bring it on" The audio of the film is expected to be released this month.

Vikram Prabhu gets Tollywood villain

Even as he is waiting for his debut film 'Kumki' to be released, Vikram Prabhu has moved on to his next film 'Ivan Veramathiri' with Saravanan of 'Engeyum Eppodhum' fame. The latest news about the film is that Tollywood actor Vamsi Krishna will play the role of antagonist in the film. Newcomer Surabhi is paired opposite Vikram Prabhu in the film and the movie is produced by Lingusamy's Tirupathi Brothers.

Narain's next is a bilingual

Narain, who was last seen in Mugamoodi as the antagonist, has reportedly signed his next film. The movie will be directed by Vasan, a former assistant of S. J. Suryah. It will be a bilingual film in Tamil and Telugu and it is expected to be a commercial entertainer. The movie will go on floors in March next year.

Ganesh Venkatraman signs Sundar C's film

Ganesh Venkatraman, who gave notable performances in films like Unnai Pol Oruvan and Abhiyum Naanum has not got the right opportunities in the recent past. His latest Telugu film Dhamarukam has become a huge hit and he has now signed Sundar C's 'Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru' as one of the lead actors. The movie also has Siddharth and Hansika in the lead roles. The film is produced by Kushboo Sundar.

The lyrics have been written by Kamal Haasan and Vairamuthu.
