Vijay completes 20 years!!!

Vijay completes 20 years!!!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay has completed 20 years in his film career today. Vijay made his debut as a lead actor in the 1992 film Naalaya Theerpu, and has since then starred in numerous commercially successful and acclaimed films in various genres such as Poove Unakkaga (1996), Love Today (1997), Kadhalukku Mariyadhai (1997), Priyamudan (1998), Thulladha Manamum Thullum (1999), Kushi (2000), Priyamaanavale (2000), Friends (2001), Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi(2005), Sivakasi (2005), Pokkiri (2007), Kaavalan (2011), Velayudham (2011), Nanban (2012) and Thuppakki (2012). He has acted in 54 films so far.

Vijay's recently released film Thuppakki is still raking in the moolah at the Box Office. He rules the hearts of the masses. Vijay is currently in Mumbai shooting for his next project with director A.L. Vijay.

Venkat Prabhu's 'Biriyani' is getting hotter day by day! The latest to spice it up is Karthi. Karthi who plays the lead role has sung a track in the film along with Premgi Amaren. Yuvan who scores the music has recorded a song with Karthi and Premgi. 

Venkat Prabhu who is happy with the output had tweeted, "Karthi is a cool singer! We always jam up Isaignani songs in the sets! Karthi and Premgi Amaren did a super job!" The film shooting is progressing in a brisk pace and the first look is expected to be revealed soon.

Uday and Nayan do a photoshoot

That Udaynidhi is teaming up Sundarapandian fame director S.R. Prabakaran for his second film is old news. Udayanidhi and Nayanthara who are playing the lead roles in this untitled project have done a photoshoot yesterday. Santhanam teams up with Uday again in this comedy entertainer. Harris Jayraj will compose the music. The film will go on floors from January next year.

Jiiva happy with Yaan shoot

Jiiva started shooting for his upcoming film Yaan directed by Ravi K Chandran in Mumbai. An action sequence was shot in the first schedule. Jiiva had tweeted, "Super start with YAAN. Fantabulous action footage. Great work Ravi K Chandran and team." Ravi K Chandran had tweeted, "Yaan - 5 action packed days shoot with Jiiva and Thulasi. Fabulous cast and crew worked very hard." Music score by Harris Jayaraj.

Murugadoss wants Kajal again!

After the tremendous response of Thuppakki in Tamil, director A. R. Murugadoss is all set to remake the movie in Bollywood with Akshay Kumar in the lead. Kajal Aggarwal has been approached by the makers to act in the Hindi version as well. Kajal is yet to give her final nod as she is already doing a film with Akshay Kumar.

Prasanna begins with rehearsal

Kalyana Samayal Saadham is an upcoming romantic comedy film with Prasanna and Lekha Washington in the lead. The movie is directed by newcomer R. S. Prasanna. The movie is expected to kick start with rehearsal involving Prasanna and other cast members. Once the rehearsal is completed, the shooting will start from January and the team is hoping to complete the shoot in one schedule. Arun Vaidyanathan, director of Achchamundu Achchamnudu is producing this venture.

'Azhago Azhaghu' song from Samar

Samar audio releases today. Vishal, Trisha and Sunaina play the lead roles in this action thriller directed by Thiru. The film is likely to hit the screens on December 21. Listen to the song 'Azhago Azhaghu' from the film. Music by Yuvan
