Rumour Alert: Rajini to team with Maniratnam?

The latest rumour, which is spreading like wildfire is that Superstar Rajinikanth might team up with ace Director Mani Ratnam for his next film. Rajinikanth has recently completed Kochadaiyaan, directed by his daughter Soundarya R Ashwin and Mani Ratnam has wrapped up his Kadal. There is no confirmation yet but who wouldn't like the Thalapathi duo coming together?

Heroine changed in "Ivan Veramathiri"

'Engeyum Eppodhum' Saravanan is directing a movie with Vikram Prabhu and Monal Gajjar in Ivan Veramathiri. Now, the team has gone in for a new face to replace her. Surabhi, a Delhi based model will now play the leading role in the film. Movie is produced by Lingusamy's Tirupathi brothers.

Muni 3 to take off soon

Raghava Lawrence is all set to direct and act in the third part of his successful horror series 'Muni'. The movie has been titled 'Ganga' and Taapsee has been roped in to play the female lead. Music will be scored by Vijay Anthony and the movie will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh. The film is expected go on floors next month.

Mollywood actor to play Vijay's baddie

Director A. L. Vijay's untitled project, with Vijay and Amala Paul in the lead is fast progressing in Mumbai. Malayalam actor Rajeev Pillai will play the role of antagonist in the film. Rajeev Pillai had earlier tweeted "In Mumbai for the shooting of my first movie in Tamil directed by Vijay sir and starring superstar Vijay and Amala Paul."

The teaser of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ambitious project, “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” was released to thundering response. Featuring Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor, “Bhaag Milkha Bhaag” is the real story of a prominent athlete Milkha Singh, also known as the Flying Sikh. Rakeysh Mehra had earlier directed Rang De Basanti. At the commencement of the project, Rakeysh Omparkash Mehra "Bhag Milkha Bhag is not about any particular sport, trophies or medals, but it is about the fire that Milkha Singh had. I just want to spread this fire across the world.”
