Vijay starts shooting in Mumbai

Vijay starts shooting in Mumbai

Vijay has started shooting for his next untitled film directed by A.L. Vijay. The shooting began in Mumbai yesterday. Amala Paul plays the female lead and Santhanam plays a pivotal role. Vijay and Amala Paul recently did a photoshoot for the film at the AVM Studios in Chennai. Major portion of the film will be shot in Australia. Nirav Shah handles the camera while G.V. Prakash scores the music. 

Jiiva packs bag to Mumbai

Jiiva is all happy and excited to begin shoot on his new project Yaan to be directed by cinematographer Ravi K Chandran. The film's pooja shot was done yesterday. Jiiva will be joining the team on November 30. Thulasi of Kadal fame plays the female lead. An action sequence will be canned in the first schedule in Mumbai. The team will then leave to Morocco for the next schedule. Music score by Harris Jayaraj.

Ramki in Biriyani

The shooting of Biriyani is happening in Pondicherry. Karthi, Hansika and Premgi Amaren play the lead roles. The latest add-on to the cast is yesteryear actor Ramki of 'Seenthora Poovae' and 'Inaindha Kaigal' fame. The rest of the cast includes Mandy Takhar, Sam Anderson, Sneha and Prasanna. Yuvan is scoring the music.

Nayanthara to romance Udayanidhi

Udayanidhi Stalin is set to team up with director S.R. Prabhakaran of Sundarapandian fame for his second film. Hot beauty Nayanthara has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Udayanidhi. Bala Subramaniam will handle the camera. The rest of the cast and crew are being finalised. The film shooting is likely to begin from January next year.

Santhanam's KLTA release date

Santhanam's maiden production venture 'Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya' is set to hit the screens on December 21. Santhanam, Powerstar Sreenivasan, Sethu and Vishaka play the lead roles in this comedy entertainer. The film is directed by Manikandan and music score by Thaman. The film is almost done except for 2 songs. Bala's 'Paradesi' is also set to hit the screens on December 21.
