Anjali's hot item song in Singam 2
Surya is currently shooting for Singam 2 with director Hari. The film shooting is progressing well. Both the leading ladeis Anushka and Hansika have started shooting their portions. The latest we hear is Anjali will be doing a hot item song in the film. The hot actor will be shaking her legs with Surya in the song.
There were earlier reports that Hari had approached Nayanthara and Shriya for the song. Now it seems that Anjali has given green signal for the item song as the other two couldn't accommodate the dates. Anjali is busy with Settai, MGR, Onbadhula Guru and Vathikuchi.

Radha Mohan's 'Gouravam' to release in January
Radha Mohan's Gouravam has reached its final stages of shooting. The film stars Allu Sirish, Yami Gautham and Prakashraj in lead roles. The post production of the film has started. Prakash Raj who is producing the film under his Duet Movies banner has said that the film will hit the screens in January next year. Music by Thaman.
Samar Trailer this month
Samar is an upcoming film starring Vishal, Trisha and Sunaina in lead roles. The film has been wrapped and the post production work is currently in progress. Interestingly Trisha will be dubbing her own voice for the film after Mankatha. Director Thiru has tweeted that the theatrical trailer of the film will be out on November 19. Yuvan has scored the music and the date of the audio release is yet to be announced.
Who is Vikram Prabhu's next heroine?
That Vikram Prabhu has started shooting for his next film 'Ivan Veramathiri' directed by Saravanan of Engeyum Eppothum fame is old news. The team has wrapped the first schedule and the next schedule of the film will begin after Diwali.
Monal Gajjar who made her debut in Sudigadu (Tamil Padam in Telugu) has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Vikram Prabhu. Monal is also playing the leading lady in Kazhugu fame Krishna's upcoming film 'Vanavarayan Vallavarayan'. Film is produced by Lingusamy's 'Thirupathi Brothers'.
Mani Ratnam surprises Settai team
Settai team is currently shooting in Chennai. The shooting is progressing in a rapid pace to wrap up the film by the end of this month. The team were in for a surprise when maverick director Mani Ratnam dropped in on the sets of Settai. The director had also spent sometime with them. Dhanangayan of UTV has said, "So delighted Mani Ratnam sir on the way to his gym dropped in at the sets of Settai and met the team. Team is excited."
Mani Ratnam has wrapped the shooting of Kadal and the post production work is in progress.
'Dagabaaz Re' song from Salman's 'Dabangg 2'
Dabangg 2, a sequel to the 2010 blockbuster Dabangg will feature Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha reprising their roles from the previous film, whilst Prakash Rajplays the main antagonist. Dabbang 2 is directed and produced by Arbaaz Khan. The film is set to hit the screens on December 21.
